CROX MPEL QLD and RIMM for 011607
Possibly the only thing prettier than the current daily chart of CROX - Crocs Inc., is Lindsay Campbell sporting a pair of the fashionably, ugly shoes in a clip at Wallstrip. The stock closed at a new closing high today, and has been putting in higher lows since I spotted it’s mouth watering base. Held overnight.
On to MPEL - Melco PBL Entertainment (Macau) Ltd., with a 50% retracement of the black, wide range bar, a higher low, and a buy signal today. I’m in. Casino stocks LVS, MGM, and WYNN are still on fire. Let’s get through that trendline MPEL!
Eight higher lows for the ETF, QLD - Ultra QQQ Proshares. It’s got to be close to ending its run? Don’t be so sure. Today could be a pause day for the Nasdaq-100, with more upside depending on where they pin options. Day trading this one.
Anytime a stock loses the 50 day moving average, red flags start popping up for me. RIMM - Research in Motion Ltd., could just be teasing us here, as it did put in a higher low on the 5-minute chart after basing most of the day. See how it handles 128.22, the last pivot high of the 5-minute base.
