Geron Corporation- GERN Stock Pick 111108

On a day when the overall market is sending stocks sharply lower, the shares of stem cell company Geron Corporation - GERN is showing relative strength.  President-elect Obama and his administration will be giving the green light for embryonic stem cell research.  GERN currently has it’s spinal cord injury testing under review by the FDA in hopes of taking it to human trials.  With other stem cell therapies in the pipeline, this is a real capitalized company.

I like the daily and especially the monthly chart. GERN is testing it’s high of September after putting in a long bottoming tail here.  I’ve profiled this stock before.  It’s a buy and hold for me.
